August meeting - same place, same time - different date! THURSDAY as Wednesday is Ekka holiday. After a couple of mishaps lately from close and afar, and a great suggestion (thanks Becker :-) ) - discussion topic this month is safety. From extra PPE equipment to process improvements. Have a think about you're process and where things could go astray - if it could happen it likely will, and share with the group.

Mini Comp - Dark Ales.  The following BJCP styles are eligible: - 13A Dark Mild - 13B British Brown Ale - 13C English Porter - 15B Irish Stout - 16B Oatmeal Stout - 19C American Brown Ale - 20A American Porter Bring along 2 bottles of one of these styles if you are keen to enter on the night.  We will split into groups and judge as per BJCP guidelines. If you're not keen to enter feel free to bring along anything else you have been brewing for the usual tasting and catch up afterwards.
